First attempt at a Spatchcock chicken. Came out pretty good.

Did you brine or season (rub) ?

There used to be a really good one that I bought that was brined hickory flavored and super flat pressed in a package from Fresh Market - they don’t carry it anymore and I have no idea what the brand was..
 
HECK YEAH, nice job! Great first post.

I take it a step farther and just halve the thing. WAY easier to handle and much less brine required. Looks little less risque' too :emoji_laughing:
