Spare ribs

Wife had a bunch of things to do around the house but right before she left to work this morning she said to put it off for tomorrow that she will help and just relax today. So relax for me means smoking meat!!! Ran to the store picked up a spare rib and fired up the smoker!!

what rub and wood did you use?

what rub and wood did you use?

I used apple wood with 2 chunks of mesquite. For the rub I used a light coat of all purpose, Goya adobo, then a homemade Memphis rub.

i did the same thing for my pups today. Mixed in some pieces of the trimmings into their dinner bowl.

Threw the ribs on high heat for the finish.
