Made some spare ribs tonight. Left the tips on. In the future I'll probably just go with the St. Louis Cut. A little cleaner and I also don't care much about the tips. I cut the tips off when playing and eating.

Followed the 3-2-1 method but pulled the ribs early since I didn't want them falling off the bone. Made up my own BBQ sauce for these ribs. It turned out pretty good. Just bought a bottle of normal sauce at the store and mixed in some sugar, honey, and butter to make a nice honey BBQ.

Nice bones! I'm not a fan of the tips either so I always trim my spares St. Louis style. The problem I've found with packaged SL cut is they tend to cut the bones and leave most of the tips which leaves you with half a rib.

Great looking ribs.....nice job. I trim off the tips but still smoke them as there are some family members that love them!
