Bear,

Back in Feb. when I PM'd you with questions for that get together that I needed some advice with, I did two containers of spam that we smoked, coated with rub and served with cheese and crackers - I came close to losing an arm when I refilled the tray! Even some of the non spam eaters said how good it was. Give it a try - it's quick and easy.

Just gonna put this in here ,,, Single serving Spam . While doing the weekly run thru the grocery store , I noticed spam on the shelf . Since reading thru this tread I stopped and had a look . All kinds of flavors ,, whole cans , and half cans .
Also ,, they had a single serving . One slice of spam , 3 x 3 or whatever it is by 1/2 inch thick , sealed in a vac pack for $1.09 . I guess you could put that thing in your wallet or glove box for that time of need ?

Yup---I've had all those amounts.
For awhile I used the singles packs, and just cut it up into about a dozen strips for frying & eating slowly with my eggs.
But I ended up getting the full cans, and cutting it in quarters, and frying one quarter at a time. I kept the other quarters in a cheap baggie in the fridge, waiting their turn.

I tried frying the whole can up (in slices), and Nuking some up each day. Not a good idea---Spam gets tough when nuke reheated!! Better to Fry a fresh batch each day.
