I've never done it but used to have a great aunt and uncle who always did. My understanding is it's basically submerging fresh eggs in a pickling lime solution and makes them shelf stable for a long time. They used to give them to family all the time on the condition they got the jars back lol.Farm where I bought eggs puts them out unrefrigerated for those who water glass them. I don't know th process, what's it do?
