Hey All,

If this is posted incorrectly, admin move me (sorry)

So today I went out bought a pork shoulder and some minced beef and some minced pork, realising I didn’t have a lot of lumpwood and charcoal I decided to do everything.

With no idea what I was going to make exactly but charlottelovesfood had persuaded me to go for a fattie so thought why not give it a go!

So I’ve done
four mozzarella, smoked chicken and cheddar stuffed burgers.

A 50/50 mix of beef and pork for a fattie with a pizza middle.
(Tomatoes, salami, chorizo, olives, mozzarella & chicken)

And a pork shoulder (no bone)

Photos to follow of the inside of fattie and pulled shoulder...if I remember, the shoulder is still on and the red wines open ...:D

I smoked with beech and a small amount of oak, running between 200 and 250.

Hope you enjoy

Alex, that all looks so good. That's an awesome fattie. I've only tried a breakfast one so far but I'm with you on the pizza style. That's going to be my next effort. You have a great week's worth of meals ahead of you. Keep it up.
