Which casings are preferred for making sticks? Maker and size. Thanks

Lots of companies sell stick casings. Size range from 13mm-22mm either mahogany, clear or smoked edible collage. Just google collagen slim jim casings and you will find loads of places that sell them.

LEM and The Sausage Maker are good to use.

I usually buy those through the Sausage maker. Natural casings through Syracuse casings.

When i buy a whole caddy i get them from Dupey equipment in Iowa

I just used the LEM mahogany 17mm casings and they were great. Nice snap to them. Bonus for being able to buy through Amazon Prime. Just make sure your stuffing nozzle will fit the casings if you go with 17 or 19mm, I had trouble getting the 17mm to fit.
