Don't forget to add some kind of sugar to your rub. It helps giving a nice bit of bark to the ribs.  Some salt and pepper, and a touch of cayenne wouldn't hurt either.  There are loads of great rub recipes on this site.

Check. Just rubbed them down with:

Salt
Pepper
Brown sugar
Chili powder
Smoked paprika
Garlic powder
Cayenne

Plan to start smoking in 2 hours at noon. Last time I went 250 for four hours and I thought they were slightly overdone. I am going to try 225 for four hours.

I forgot to get pictures before it was chowed on. I am much happier with smoking at 225 degrees for around 4 hours.

I threw some Johnsonville brats on toward the end and those turned out good. My first time doing anything with sausage. They cooked quite fast.

Novi , I smoke my Ribs 'sans' foil and at the end I put 1 portion of 'Turbinato' Sugar(appox.30min. before removing them, ). I also leave the lid closed and monitor Smoker Temp. at 225*F.

You said BB's , so as a point of reference , check then in 4.5hrs. , then add sugar  .  Won't have a chance to burn the sugar.

Have fun and . . .
