I just got a Kamado Joe Classic for XMas and was going to smoke a butt on it for the first time.  I watched some videos and each one only shows adding wood to the fire box one time.  Is this accurate?  I don't have the version with the grate that has the door to add more wood so I would have to do some work to add more wood.  I don't mind doing the work, but was wondering how often I should do it.  Thanks in advance for any advice!!
