Greetings,
My name is Rod and I live in Navarre, NW Florida also known as the Panhandle. I have been smoking meat for about 17 years. I've been through a number of smokers through the years, starting with a Brinkman, followed by a New Braunfels stick burner with modifications. I now use two Kamados (Richard Johnson manufactured) a large K7 and a smaller K3. I've never looked back since buying them. I love them. I've also been through a bunch of grills over the years both gassers & charcoal. I am a retired National Park Ranger & have moved around a lot to different parts of the country so my cooking has been influenced by different regional favorites.
