OK, Random Thread...

So I love to cook, love to experiment, hence my purchase of a MES 30" smoker....3 smokes and pretty happy with the results thus far....

Several months ago I purchased a Bayou Classic Propane Burner, Pots, etc.  Received the pots, burner, strainer, etc. via UPS/FedEx, (whatever!  2 day, free shipping, what do I care?)....

It shows up, and after reading the manual I tell my wife..."This bites! (no pun intended, well OK, may be a little....), "I have to return it....pisses me off....I'm mad now!  yada, yada, yada...."  You get the idea, 25+ years of marriage.

She asks...."Why Honey, what's wrong?"  I say "It's right here in the manual...."Operator must remain sober at all times when operating this equipment"   I'm sure going to miss that burner (NOT!)

Movin, groovin' shakin', smokin' and grillin' in NE TN!!!

P.S.  Ancient BBQ (insert sport/hobby here) Proverb....

Behold the the "smoker":

He riseth early in the am and,

And disturbeth the whole household.

Mighty are his preparations.
He goes forth full of hope,
And when the day is far spent
He returns.
Smelling of strong drink (smoke) and the
Truth is not in him.

Love it, love it, eat it!

That "Operator must remain sober blah blah blah" has to be the most BROKEN rule on any piece of Cooking equipment found in the backyard!...JJ

LOL talk about CYA instructions! (cover your ass).

If a fire starts just pour your beer on it!
