Well, after throwing out the idea to the forum folkes about adding a Brinkman side firebox to my vertical smoker, I decided to give it a try. This mod is out there on the net, I am NOT the creator.  I am providing a link to my build process with Qview!   It was quite easy and took about an hour.  Total cost around $90.00.   Now I've got some new options with wood and charcoal.  If you have a vertical propane smoker and want to try it.....go for it.  You'll like it.
