I have a Brinkman horizontal smoker with firebox on left side. The chemney hole is oval and on top. It is only about 5 inches tall. Any idea where I can get a taller chimney? Serial number is on the smoker, but no model number. Looked everywhere and all require a serial number.

The chimney hole is oval so a round pipe can fit straight up. Check with a local muffler shop for pipe. They might know where to get a exhaust flap to clamp on for dampner.

Yup - put a round pipe on that will fit and then pack aluminum foil or something wadded up to fill the gaps?

I don't know how to source oval pipe...

Assuming you have a better quality Brinkmann than I used to have.
If the chimney is oval that get a round aluminum duct and shape it to fit the oval.
