That's another great benefit about this place; people genuinely care and want to be sure that everyone has fun with this wonderful hobby.

Tip - thanks for reminding us all of summer safety. Glad your ok, buddy!

Will have to quit transporting the charcoal chimney in flip-flops so I can keep my toes ...

we can all learn from this. my wife wanted to fix us a special dinner. got a nice cut of steaks, wrapped asparagus in bacon and was fixing all the trimmings. I got home and started to take a shower. I usually do all the grilling, but she wanted to do this for me as appreciation. I told her that since I did not always hover over the grill, that everything would be okay. welllll, a few minutes later she comes in crying that the food is ash. luckily the grill was away from the house enough. I didn't believe that only after a few minutes, that it was ash. I got out of the shower and went to look. yeah, it was gone. the meat wasn't too bad, still edible. I did eat it. :) but the asparagus was gone. she was crying, but I'm glad she didn't get hurt. she recovered quite well and shut the gas off. this is a great reminder to everyone. thanks
