Well I had to go through a print reading class for my A.A.S and it had to be of a piggy bank. Well as a smoker I thought of making a minny horizontal smoker bank...This is what I came up with...Sorta made the time go by a little better since I have been dealing with blue prints and the like for years now. Let me know what you think. I am thinking of producing them and putting them up on ebay as a novelty item...you just never know. I figure you builders out there will enjoy these.

I don't think it will be very easy to weld all those joints. You might want to make it out of something alittle easier to work with. Like maybe wood could be glued instead of welded. It's a novel idea for sure maybe I'll look at them when you get the made I like little stuff like that too.

GOT ONE DONE YET

It will have to be welded for a "welding" project...with the right heat it should work fine..we shall see thoNo we won't make our "project" till later in the year..right now I am doing a 3 foot high moose. I'll definitely post them when I am done tho.....but I still got14u when I'm done..

Wow, that will be awesome when it comes together. I think you will be a real professional after welding all of the intricate elements. I like to weld on thick metal...I find it a bit more forgiving. I'm guessing you are planning on TIG for that?

With it being a novelty item I am not to worried about the penatration so I might do some mig and some tig also..they will be fun to build that's for sure.

I like the part in the details where it said "All Welds will be to my standards"! I wish I could have put that on the plans when I was building houses. Can't wait to soo one of these fabbed up.

I would love to see one done in copper...it would be a thing of beauty all polished up...

I hear ya...that's why I put it there...I had to deal with building houses down in AZ as well. I'm a carpenter by trade also.

I never thought of that....that would be nice
