Hi guys, i am in the process of building a smoker (a lot like the one wes built here - https://www.smokingmeatforums.com/threads/brick-smoker-compete-how-to.126307/)
The only difference is mine is built connected to a barbecue grilling area. both areas need a flue to take the smoke out from the undercover cooking area i have built. I was wondering, can I connect these flues via a 'Y connection'.
The grilling area will have a flue extractor (this will be connected before the 'Y connection'. my worry is if the extraction fan is in use will it effect the airflow from the smoker and therefore effect the cooking.
The smoker will have a damper
