Hi everyone I'm looking for opinions on a blanket for my trainer that I just got, I live in Michigan and am planning on using the trainer I just got, wanting to use it in the winter, I do have a pole barn but not that comfortable leaving inside while it is smoking any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I have a GMG Daniel Boone I use the GMG sells and I use my grill all winter long.

I have the PitBoss 700 and smoked with it at Christmas and New Years. I bought a welding blanket from the hardware store for about thirty dollars placed it over the smoker and I did have to cut holes for the smoke to get out.

Temp outside was in the lower 20's but the wind here in Oklahoma never stops with the blanket I kept the heat and ended up not using as much pellets.

this worked for me but i also have it "blocked" in on my side patio by two walls. my buddy does not have that option so he got some thin plywood and put them up on the side the wind was blowing to block it.
