Hello i just join today, I live in Kansas and I just got my second smoker a couple days ago. My first smoker was a char broil and I know its not a good one to start out on but gotta start some were. I use charcoal and hickory wood to smoke with. I also have a little Weber Smokey Joe for the front porch.

Ive been playing around with smoking now for about 4 yrs. I got my new / used smoker and have been working on some mods. Its a smoke hollow charcoal wagon and i got rid of the charcoal grilling ability and made it into a reverse flow smoker and added a 3' smoke stack on the right side. I just thought this would be the place to get some help with my mods. I'm thankful for forums and people like you guys that are willing to give a helping hand and info on what to do.

Im trying to upload pics to my profile but its not letting me, is it because im a new member?
Yes I think that is the problem, I think you have to have made about 20 posts before it will let you, so just keep getting involved and then try it again later, it should work.

The smokers fired up and going, putting a pork butt on this morning! Hope its up for its first long smoke after all its new mods.
