In my masterbult smoker  40" could you smoke

fish & something else in it at same time would you get that fish smell even when you you use it

next time---with my side wood chip loader

its really hard to get it out I have to work with

it for a good 4 or 5 min.

On the loader check to make sure it is not out of shape and the you are lineing up the rack for removal.

We smoke salmon all the time with no fish smell in the smoker.

Yes you can smoke something else at the same time and I wouldn't worry about getting a fish smell but the only thing is normally when you smoke salmon you are smoking at a lower temp say 150-175 just to throw out some numbers and when you smoke  pork or beef you are usually smoke at 225-250 so that's a big temp difference. Your Salmon will by very dried out if you smoke it that hot for any longer period of time unless you are going for more of a quick grilling/smoke style salmon where you are pulling it off right away then it would work. So yes you can smoke other things with it but you are going to want to make sure it is something that will be smoked in the same type of temp range.
