Smoked a top round today for some sandwiches tomorrow. Used Killer Hoggs AP rub and lumberjack hickory pellets on my camp chef at 250. Took it a little higher than I wanted to (140ish) but it came out tasty. The killer hoggs rub surprised me, I thought it would be too salty but wow what a taste. First time I ever smoked a roast beef for sandwiches. My uncle made them at a football tailgate for the eagles during the NFC championship game a couple of years ago on his Kamodo with mesquite and it was the best sandwich I ever had! Hope everyone had a great weekend

There is no better roast beef sammy than home smoked, and sliced thin!

Looks good! Perfectly cooked to me. But also curious to how tender it is since it is a tough cut of meat
