Hello All,
Need some help, as my dad has mentioned numerous times that he missed old fashion linked smoked pork sausage. I tried to make him some for the holidays by buying some already made linked suasage, Uncle Charlies brand. Anyways I cold smoked it for three hours using the amaz. tube and it smelled great. Kept temp below 70 degrees during and thought I was good to go. Well the next day I food sealed it and gave it to my dad, but when he tried it there was no smoke flavor. Any ideas? 1st time attempting cold smoke on anything other the cheese. Thanks
 
Yeah what Al said.
IMHO I dont think i would smoke at 70* if it was not cured.
