My wife wanted Prime Rib tonite for dinner so we went our and bought a nice piece of meat this morning. We bought a 10.5 lb Prime Rib-Eye Roast. I preheated the Traeger to 300 degrees and put the roast in the smoker over a beef broth bath. I kept it in the smoker for about 3 hours and 35 minutes until the meat thermometer read 133 degrees. I let it rest for 30 minutes and then I cut the roast. It was delicious ( or is delicious ). I will be having Prime Rib sandwiches for a few days!!!! MMM MMM MMM :)
Im very happy with my Traegers performance. all you really have to do is buy a good piece of meat and let it do the rest.
