Finally going to grill the Chicken thighs.
Looked @ some recipes: Using Ketchup, tomato sauce, as a base ?
Onions, Green peppers, garlic, Molasses, sugar,
Spices: salt, black pepper, cumin, oregano, chili powder, ?
Not sure what else ? LOL !
Any other ideas folks ?
PS: Not very spicy or HOT!
Thanks ! Local Shore Elf ...

Using those listed ingredients try adding a good amount of Balsamic vinegar, It's often overlooked but is very rich in a sauce.

The simplest possible sauce is nothing more than equal parts ketchup and soda/cola. Any combo of ketchup/soda will do,Melindas habanero ketchup and A&W root beer has been a go-to for me. Combine and simmer till it thickens and that's it.

Not necessarily simple, but easy enough and really good. I make this regularly, great on ribs and chicken...

I love Jeff’s sauce recipe. I add 1/4 cup of bourbon and Minute Maid apple juice to taste. I also use the full amount of molasses and cut the pepper to half. Make it at least a day in advance to let the flavors meld. I wash out the ketchup bottle and use it for the sauce.
