seems i have not seen 1 in a while & the newbies should know about this. personally i haven't done 1` in ages & i just had my memory jogged- anyone remember links or pics ? - i'll try to find a few of my meatloaf Qviews.
well........there is Jeffs smoked meatloaf...........
i have a kick butt recipe.......see if i can find it.......my son..........who was a mess cook for the officers, said it was better than his.......and he makes a great one..........see if i can find it
okay........this is my last meatloaf.........recipe to follow
first made up
rubbed up
put on the smoker.......thats a pizz pan........lets the smoke thru
money shot........tbs
sliced up with smoke ring..
now for the recipe
2 lbs ground beef
1 package lipton onion soup mix
1/2 cup water
2 eggs
1 cup french fried onions, crushed into bread crumb consistancy
2 small onions chopped and carmalized
1 Tbs worchestershire sauce
black pepper
easy on the salt
mix together and make loaf
350 degree @ 45 minutes
try it......you will love it.........but don't forget the ketshup topping......we did.......hehehe

thats what i do too- the lipton onion soup mix in w/ rotels,egg,bread crumbs etc. & soak overnight in worchy,balsamic,& arrogant bassard ale.
p.s. thats 1 fine looking loaf low.
bumping this 1 more time before bed cause no one has shown 1 in a while & fer the newbies or anyone else- it's great. gotta ressurect some good old ideas.
