Smoked a roast Sunday night. Not to bad for first attempt. The wife even agreed.

Looks really good, but what is that stuff that looks like grass?
 
It is fresh Garlic leaves. We roasted a beef tenderloin last year before we got the smoker and used the leaves and it gave the meat some great flavor. Did not really notice the garlic flavor like we did with the tenderloin but it was something new.
 
It was a 4.5lb arm roast. It took about 3 and a half hours to get it to 150 and that was medium rare.
