Smoke House Done, Finally

  1. Got the build done in Feb, took a month to get the pics uploaded to share, but here we go!  Used an old slab I had to build on, 5'x15', the smokehouse is 5'x8' with a 7' covered porch. Frame is pine..

    Pics coming when I figure out how to post them!!

    The frame is pine


     

    Did the outside and roof with metal roofing and built the front and door out of 5/8" decking material


     
     
  5. The inside is completely lined and sealed with 1/4" concrete backer board.  Doing old school smoking with a hickory fire built right inside with the meat



    250lbs of venison sausage ready to go


     
     
  6. 45 min at 190+  then 6hrs at 150....



    If someone can resize these, feel free!

    I have always wanted to build one of these! Looks beautiful. How long did you do your sausages in the pic? How did they come out?
