Banged together a tiny smoke house for cold smoking and hanging meat. Want the pioneer life but trying to do it in itty bitty living space.

2x4 pine frame, the rest is all untreated cedar.

Stuffed some screen in there to make myself feel better about hanging meat outside.

Piping in the smoke from a small Webber grill through aluminum dryer vent.

Vents through the eve opening above the door.

I imagine the concept of a smoke house as a giant food dehydrator for cured meat. It's not air tight or bug proof, just squirrel resistant. Good enough for who it's for...

Kinda just "going for it". It's not perfect, but at least I'm doing it. Perfect is the enemy of getting something produced.

Looks great to me. Something like a smoky Joe kettle is actually kinda popular as a smoke generator for a smokehouse these days. Like I said looks good. I’d eats meats out of that for sure.

My smokehouse is bigger and propane powered. But nothing like having an actual smokehouse, enjoy and I look forward to seeing your products.
