We just got a Smoke Hollow 4 in 1 combo unit last weekend. I've already done the seasoning process....this Saturday will be my first smoke on it. I have read lots of stuff on mods that people have made to make this smoker better, but I really don't have a lot of time to do anything before I have to use it on Saturday. I will be doing huge Turkey legs on Saturday and I'm just wondering if I will really need to have a charcoal basket of some sorts in order to smoke properly? I keep seeing people make metal charcoal baskets, but I don't have the time, nor am I very handle with tools to try to be making something like that right now. Will I be ok just pouring the charcoal on the existing grate in the side smoking chamber? Thanks.
