Smoke Daddy Pellet Pro?

They have a pretty good reputation, I know when Pitts and Spitts first started making pellet grills they were using the Pellet Pro Hopper Assembly.

They are local to me. They are too small of a company IMO to count on future service. I would look at more major brands. At your price point you can get a fairly premium mini size or a more mid range full size. Personally I would not get a pellet grill without a PID or better (Yoder) controller.

With so many brands now the search is challenging.

The Pellet Pro has a PID controller and they sell a lot of their controllers to people who want to upgrade to a PID controller. Pellet Pro and Savannah Stokers are probably the 2 most popular after market controllers to buy for those wanting to upgrade their Pellet Grills. They also sell a lot of parts to Traeger owners who want to replace or upgrade parts on their grills.

I can't speak to the Pellet Pro cooker itself, but I'm one of the Traeger owners that purchased their PID controller - couldn't be happier with the build quality.

I have gotten parts from them for my Traeger good prices great service. One thing to remember a lot of the hopper parts on many of the grills are from the same plant in China so much is interchangeable parts will be around for along time. Personally I would rather support the little guys out there Smoke Daddy sent me a nice thank you letter with my last $40 order it was a nice touch.
