Hello guys so I recently got me a reverse flow smoker I seasoned the grates after I seasoned them I created a lil steam then I was gonna cure the grates with smoke I attached a pic and circled where the grates didn’t get cured by the smoke wat would that reason being

You didn't rotate the grates during the seasoning and curing process?
Appears the undone grates ended up outside the convection flow
