I never before posted photos here, not in my skills.

Wanted to try again,  Had Missus download from camera in her comp, then emailed to me.

So they were in my Yahoo email on screen in front of me.

Just for the heck of it.....  I right clicked w cursor over photo, selected "Copy image"....  then opened the reply box in the thread I wanted it in,  cursor in box,  right click "Paste"........    And holy buckets it frickin worked !!!!!!!!

None of this 10 step files business.

No resizing, NOTHING else needed to be done.

WOW   so happy.

Al - somethins funny here...........  so, if you go to the link in my OP above, then scroll wayy down to post #38 and 39, you do not see two photos????

Alternately... If you go to the "Pork" subforum.. then go to my thread on first page title "Anybody cooking Pork to Rare" ... then go to post 38 39 on Page 2------ You dont see two images?

Ok  just had Missus look on her comp and no photos on hers either.

All the txt is there, but no image. 

So weird, cause they show on mine, even after I sign out and come back, they are on 38 and 39.

So crazy.

Ok, I will try to do what you say but not till later eve tonight.  Thank you Al.    Marc

That happens sometimes when you copy and paste. To see if the image was accepted, go to the bottom of the reply box and click Preview. If it shows there, go down and Submit. If no pic you have to follow above procedure...JJ

I simply use the upload files option shown in the tutorial. It's the last way shown in the tutorial. You can do it from your wife's computer with her help the first time since that's where your photos are. Click on the picture icon and click upload files. This is where your wife helps. Once you click on upload files have your better half locate those photos in her computer and select one. Then select the size you want it to be and click submit. All done.
 
The crazy part is...... after I posted,   I totally signed out, then signed back in a bit later, and they still showed on the post.

But again, when Missus goes there on her comp, or you guys, no images, just the text.

Will fix tonight or tommorow, proud of my photos.

Even though the ribs are bleedin red in middle.

Other stuff goin on, damn icemaker fell apart and solenoid feeding, arm held down w a 5 lb bag of French Fries,, but gotta fix that so I don't wake up and have water on floor and ice gluing everything down on freezer floor  !!!

Long story, can't find the 1/4 nutdriver,   yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.          Marc

Guys, I have built a Jeep from bare frame up to be a daily driver for 11 years.......converted a Bus over 2500 man hours....Built SO much stuff over my life, Electrical contractor in MN, Etc stuff otherwise,   I CAN do stuff.......BUT this computer crap that I can not physically put my hands or eyes on is TOTALLY different.

But we'll get it.

Now to the icemaker, that makes total sense to me and is SIMPLE.

IF I can find the damn nutdriver or socket.        Marc

The easiest way for me is to use Photobucket.    

You use a cell phone for pics??

Its free and I can talk you through it.
 
Rings.... How can you possibly NOT have a PC ???

I spend hourssss daily reading and learning about whatever I'm currently  workin on, like in the Shop, or today, stupid freezer ice maker.

NOT to see stupid Cat videos, or Kardashian latest antics.

TOTALLY indispensable. for me anyway.

I cannot imagine not having it.     

Now,   the cell phone....   We live in the woods, VERY poor signal here, and travel basically never at this point in life.

So we have like a $20 phone, just for when we go to Town.  

If flat tire, stroke on road, or to let Missus know- "Yes, they DID have fresh Fried Chicken at the Grocery Store Deli,  so put some corn and Taters on.... and put the Pups away, cause I got alot of grocerys to bring in" 

That's all we use the phone for, every two weeks when I go out.

A quiet life here in the East Texas Piney Woods.

I just never had a use for a pc. I was in the army in the the 80s when they came out.. nobody I knew had one. In the 90s I spent all my time working and riding motorcycle.. no kids and job didn't require one.. then came internet on the phones in like 2006 '. I bought a phone that had internet and just used it for Google and texting. Now the phone is a computer.. don't need a pc for anything.. I can't afford the bill to get it running month to month either.. I need my phone.. so I have it and no pc. Still no kids and wife. [emoji]127866[/emoji]


No WiFi bill and no data worries.. I have $45 a month plan for the phone. And I have free tv . I use free digital antenna and gets 51 channels.. including all local.
