Was excited to try this place out for dinner, hate to say it's nothing special. Had brisket,pp,baby back ribs,Mac and cheese,corn bread and chili cheese fries. The fattier part of the brisket was alright the flat was bland and kinda dry, the pp was just flavorless but tender. The highlight of an uninspiring dinner was the baby backs which were tender and tasty but,could have had more rub on them,the sides were just okay Mac and cheese must have been sitting awhile while the cornbread had good flavor it was just to dry and crumbly IMHO and the chili cheese fries were passable though they should let you order them with the other sides so you could get them about the time your able to sit down. I only tried two sauces sweet was a decent sauce and the spicy wasn't my cup of tea they offer two or three other sauces as well. In there defense they only recently opened around a month I think and by the number of people there some must like it! The city has had several BBQ place open lately if your in town I would suggest Horseshoe BBQ or Two Scott's BBQ for your dining needs but they both close before Slow's which also serves some adult beverages.
