Well I thought I'd be dodging raindrops, but Mother Nature smiled upon me yesterday afternoon. Went to the local grocer to pick up some household needs and these tips caught my eye. Next to flank steak marinated in teriyaki. Tips are one of my favorite cuts of beef.

Called upon the beer pole to start the days festivities.

Next the 22"er with a reverse Vortex. Added a couple white spuds and bacon for some loaded mashers.

Skins reserved for tonight's supper. They'll be crisped up and filled with some butter and cheddar cheese. Maybe some bacon if I'm feeling it.

Chris using a Weber Kettle? Can’t be true! 😂

That meal looks finer than a frogs hair split 3-ways!

Banjo man out.

new smoker is paid off. House is sold, divorce is final, and move is almost complete. Down to nothing but house hold bills and truck payment. Thus only need one job to live now.

Jim

Looks excellent! You and any kettle is just pure fire perfection Chris. Very nice work. That steak is an image I just can’t un-see. Wow.

That's good cooking right there, Chris! Can't wait to see what you did with the skins...

I know Banjo man what's the world coming to. I'll take the frog part as a compliment, but do know that frogs give me nightmares for some reason reoccurring ones at that.

Thanks Eric. The wife said the steak was perfect, and I have to believe her because it didn't last long on her plate.
Perfectly cooked East Coast Chris. I would enjoy every bite of that.
Appreciate it West Coast Chris, and we did enjoy it all.

Chris

Great cook on those steaks Chris!
Thank you kindly Brian.

Appreciate it Charles, Unfortunately the skins are still sitting in the fridge. I used my kettle yesterday, but in a way I couldn't get the skins on - bummer. Hopefully tonight the night.

What is that, that you have your charcoal in, in your kettle?
