Simple vortex drums

Greetings all,
Quick drumstick cook today on the vortex. Hit half with Holy Voodoo and half with HC Red. 45 minutes in a hickory smoke bath and .

JCAP Ok I bought a vortex yesterday. Question for ya.....Do you use a chimney to get coals going or start them in the vortex?

JLeonard I've done both but I usually use the chimney to get them nice and glowing. Then I pour into the vortex!
