Silly question from a new MES owner

OK I did my first pork shoulder last nigh.... came out great !

Question: After I load a few wood chips into the loader then turn it to unload, does it matter if you leave the loader facing up or down ? I couldnt find anything saying where to leave it.   There are three holes in it (to provide air?)

I just leave mine in and as far as mine goes, it makes no difference whether it's right side up or not. There's no holes in my chip loader though
