Should there be an "Open Pit" Category in the Equipment forum?

I am wondering if there should be a section for grillers that BBQ over open style pits. I would support cooking styles like Santa Maria grills, firepits, churasco, or general pits that do not fall under the current sections. For example a Santa Maria pit is not a charcoal or wood smoker. It is smoke but uses a different method.
