In the grounds maintenance shop at Ohio State they had a blower built to go onto a big front-end loader, instead of a bucket. IIRC it had a Ford straight 6 like you'd see on a tractor. I never did see it run.

I got to run a blower on a Toro lawn tractor like you'd see fitted with a mowing deck on a golf course. It could eat 18" of snow that the tractors with snow blades just bounced off of.
