sandyut sandyut , your friends here have your back. Anything you need from prayers to money to food, I know we would come through. Hopefully the whole family is on the way to recovery.

After reading DougE DougE update, I realized I was delinquent on mine.

My daughter (she is only 36 years old) has had 2 chemo treatments and had a port installed. First treatment was bumpy...second one is kicking her a** more. I suspect the affects will get worse each time. 4 more to go. They take about 8 hours which I had no idea about. Hair fell out after the first treatment - very quickly. I shaved my wifes head for support and solidarity. I have shaved mine for years.

An old friend from college has glioblastoma. Its a death sentence. The nicest guy too. Hes survived a year, but another year is questionable. Pretty much no one lives with it. couple days ago had his third brain surgery, some of the meds stopped working so I came back...again. Now its affecting some cognition.

Seriously F**K CANCER! Sorry its not a super happy update, but its life and its real.

Prayers again out to your daughter, for a miracle, that the Lord guide her medical team in her care, and prayers to you and you and your whole family as you deal with this.

My situation is minor by comparison.

Thanks again for all the prayers, kind words and support.

Been out of town and just catching up. You are living in the worst situation imaginable. I hope you and your wife have close and loving support. You can count on our prayers.

Continued thoughts and prayers for strength as they fight this terrible disease.
Just lost a 2 good friends and it's the #1 killer in my family. I've already outlived my dad and can't imagine going thru treatment with one of my children.

Its brutal for sure. No one wants to lose anyone, but we should outlive our children. Just doesnt always work that way.

Stay healthy, im sure you are watching/testing to make sure you dont get it too. Sure hope you dont!

Praying for your daughter, hoping for the best. We lost our daughter at age 23, so I really feel your pain.
Al
Hey Al, very sorry to hear that. Sorry for your loss. thank you for the prayers!

technically, we are told there is no cure, no chance of full remission. they say there should be periods without tumors, but they are expected to keep coming back. when they do it surgery and chemo.

Thanks again for all the support and prayers. Means the world!

Technically, yeah, but it is up to God! No matter what, just remember that He has a purpose in everything that comes to pass. We might not see it in this life, but I expect we will understand when we meet face to face.
