Thank you all so much! Really means a lot to us.

Exactly! Ordered her a shirt with that on on and a dad hat for me. Cancer is the worst!!
Damn sorry to hear this bruth'a ,David.
Nevermind what the Doctors say about time let on earth. My sister was given 1-2 yrs to live over 30 yrs ago. After her second son was born the Dr came into the recovery room in front of our whole family, and told herthat she had two grapefruit size masses, one in her girly parts, the other in her abdomen. They removed them the next day,and hit it had with either kemo or radiation, I can't remember off hand. Whatever they did worked for a yr, then it came back in a vengeance, it was now in damn near every lymph node in her body. The dr say she most likely wouldn't live a yr . She had another surgery removing all of her lymph nodes, then more Kemo or radiation once again. My sister is one tough bitch, she told everyone not to worry, and that she wasn't going anywhere until she helped raise her grandchildren. Mind you she was in her early 20s when this all took place. Well with God's grace, she is still kicking ass and taking names. She's been cancer free for over 25 yrs. If your daughter would like to talk with her, I'm sure she would be more that willing to speak with her or you. Just say the word, and I'll put the two of you in touch.

Your family will remain in our prayers until your daughter kicks cancers ass.
Keep positive outlook, and take whatever the Drtells you withagrain of salt. One thing they can't teach in med school is how a persons will to live plays such a massive roll in their survival.

Your daughter isn't leaving her baby anytime soon, if she has anything too do with it .

Oh,and get your butt, down to see her, even if you have to crawl, or be air lifted by a private helicopter. You know she would be there for you or your wife.
If there's a will, there's away.

God bless.
Dan

Well Dave , Just back on after a couple days, and this is what I find. F**K

I remember your post last year and the troubles you were all going through than.

So I am very sorry to read this and all the nice posts from everyone. Everyone know s of someone in the family's or close friends. Never a good age to find out you have this . But a child is very hard on the family.

As we ( I ) get older my circle of friends and family members ( even in our house ) have had this and still deal with this .

You know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family during this very trying time.

Reach out if you just want to scream at someone, I can take it .

I agree, not believing anything as fact. things are evolving, different doctors have different opinions. Kristin is a fighter! I think we have for a while.

As we expected, MDA looked over all the previous scans and think its not the cancer they thought it was in Colorado.

Current thought is its a rare type called "sex cord tumors with annular tubules". sounds bad, but not near as bad as the first diagnosis. Surgery is a given, pull all the tumors and basically get a hysterectomy (remove all the girly parts that are left, some were removed last year), chemo is on the table but this cancer has no known treatment plan...so we dont know what else. Some previous cases had lymph nodes removed too. Should know more tomorrow.

Thanks for the update Dave,
So does this mean it is bad , Just maybe not as bad as first thought?

David
right now the consensus is not nearly as bad. Original diagnosis has 6-12 month life expectancy, the new one has 100% make it 5 years...some longer.

The new type is more often many benign tumors, occasionally they are malignant. So they need to do a bunch of testing on them to see whats what.

Well that is a better situation . But still trying times

Sticking with the prayers and good thoughts here for you all.
