Hey everybody. I'm new here and not sure if this is where I need to post this. I just put together my new Smoke Hollow 44241GW LP gas smoker and ready to fire it up today. My problem is in the proper way to season this thing. The first part of the manual says fire it up like normal with wood chips and water at 300 for about an hour. However, later in the back of the manual it says rub down the inside walls with oil and fire it up at 300 for an hour. So which is it? Just a bit confusing. And since today is Saturday, nobody's home at Smoke Hollow. Can anybody help me out? Thanks.

Spray the inside with Pam & fire it up with chips & water at 300-325 for an hour or so.
