Hi everyone. I recently got some tri tips and was thinking about seasoning the, before I shrink wrap them to Make it a little easier when I’m ready to cook them. Does anyone do this or would it be too strong of flavor?

Have done that many times, roasts, steaks, etc . Very handy if decide to SV them then.

I do it all the time. I've done ribs, Tri-tip, steaks, pork chops and even did a brisket. Works out great. When you defrost the meat the seasoning is on the meat for a longer time.
