My name is Joe, I enjoy long rides down dirt roads with an ice cold.....

Wrong website.  Sorry.

I am trying to find knowledge and assistance on building my first smoker.  A friend gave me a 250 gallon Propane tank and I have an old boat trailer in good shape, what else am I gonna do with this crap.  I have always wanted to build a reverse flow smoker, but have seen a few of the firebox mounted behind the door style pits that could work nicely, and make trailer life much better.  I don't compete, but do like to pretend I know what I am doing sometimes.  I have kicked around the idea of chopping the tank in half and making two smaller verticals also.  Just looking for pluses and minuses of each such as ease of use, consumption, warmup and heat loss when doors open.  Basically I want to do it right the first time with minimal oopsies along the way.

Thanks in advance.
