Scallops & Grilled Cheese (With Double Smoked Ham)
Well—They had Scallops on sale again, so I couldn’t resist @ $10.95, instead of $17.95.
So I made them my favorite way—In a Pan with a lot of Butter. I like them nice & Buttery!!
Put some Olive Oil on & some Old Bay for a few hours first. Then fry them in that Butter!!
I had a little sliced Double Smoked Ham left in one of my freezer bags, so I threw the last slices in a Pan to heat them up, and on the side, put the Scallops in a bowl with some of the Bubbling Hot Pan Butter.
This was Heaven for this Old Bear!!
Then the next day I made two Grilled Cheese, and took All of the Ham Crumbs out of the bottom of the Bag, and threw them in between the cheese slices in my Grilled Cheese Sammies. Boy were those Tasty!!
That’s about it for the Scallops & that pack of Leftover Double Smoked Ham!! Gotta look—I think I might have one more Vac Pack of Leftover Ham in my Freezer Yet.
Thanks for the Visit,
Bear
This shows what kind of Scallops I got here for $10.95:
Coated with Olive Oil & Old Bay:
After a few hours in the Fridge, into a Pan with lots of Bubbling Butter:
Some leftover Double Smoked Ham from the Frying Pan, and Scallops in a Bowl with Hot Butter poured over them. That's The Bear's Supper!! MMMMmmmmm..........
Spread all the leftover Ham Pieces & Crumbs on each Sammy:
Close 'em up & Butter one side:
Put the buttered side down in the pan & butter the second side:
Keep flipping them over until the cheese is melted & the toasting is even:
Finished exactly the way I like them:
