Sauerbraten or Corned Beef?

Have not bought a chuck roast in long time due to prices. I pulled my last one from freezer couple days ago. Plan was to make Sauerbraten with it. Now I thinking Corned Beef which I also not had in long time. I know chuck not traditional for either dish but will work. What are your votes?

I've done sauerbraten with chuck roast. Works fine.

I'd prefer pulled beef, but with your two choices Brian. I'd go with corned.

Sounds like going to go with Corned Beef. Thanks for replies. Going to have to find Wayne's, thirdeye recipe. If I remember done it before and turned out good. I remember someone saying something about using a pork butt to make sauerbraten. Might have to try that next time I get a butt.
