Your right Sonny, Judy is a very good driver!
But you know the old muscle cars were easy to work on & repair.
Now this Mustang is much faster than the old ones, but about all I can do is open the hood & check the oil.
And as a young man I worked in a garage as a mechanic!
Al
I'd bet on
her in a race, Al.
Yep, the Oldies were pretty good. I hated having to remove the left Hooker Header to change the starter though.
But since it ate parts anyway, I got pretty good at it. LOL!
Most of the time, checking the oil is enough with all this new stuff. Even if we can't "work" on it, I think it is nice to not have to.
My Dodge had a Chrysler 383. 3 cam options, stock (Oatmeal), High Lift/Short duration (Torque), or full race High Lift (Big PITA to set up) I went for the torque when I rebuilt it. It was Nasty and Sexy.
I don't miss the tinkering the oldies took. I guess I got old too soon.
Hey, more time for washing, waxing, polishing, and Beer and Pickles while the ribs are cookin, right?
You enjoy
both your Babies Al! ;)
Betty and I met on a blind date, for a ride with mutual friends, on Harley's. She didn't stand a chance. We outgrew being able to go for a days ride. I told her I wanted to sell the bike..
She said, "Sell the bike?"
I said, "Yeah.... and buy a boat."
She said, "Sell the bike, and buy a boat?"
She began to believe I would when I sold the bike.
That's when I hung up the speed, and took the Grandkid's fishin. 2005
No regrets. :)
