My wife was shopping at Costco and I texted her to get me a Tri-Tip. Something was lost in translation but I will still make this work. Who knows? It might turn out great.

Ouch. That 11.99 is rough. We got ours for 8.99 a lb at Whole Foods. Its crazy how much it has gone up.

Orlando Costco Business Center price on tri-tip went from $3.99 in November to $5.79 in March.
It used to be my cheap beef grind for sausage.

Commie land used to be the cheap source for tri-tip.
No more?
Very expensive. I think the best I have seen is pork shoulder around $3.99 ish. Beef is higher. Cost of living is so high that most businesses have to charge significantly more for rent and labor. Being born here, it's sad to see.

Yeah, Walmart is under $10\Lb but she was doing what she thought I had asked her for. I was actually looking for a Greek tri-tip that is cut for skewers. She had gotten it from Costco before and it was real good.

Wow! Looks delicious. Could this be done on a BQ with indirect heat??
anything can be done anywhere. Probe the meat and pull the meat when you hit your desired internal temp.
