Looks great
Thanks Chris .
stopped at a grinder shop and I ordered mine with the works.
Got some great sandwich shops around here . Most meat counters will make you a sub .
Had a gal ask me what I wanted on it . I said everything .
Pause .
Then every time she added some thing she would ask me .
I would say , " Is that part of everything ? "
yes .
Then I want it .

That's one of my weaknesses. Hot sub Sammy on fresh bread, with all the fixings. I'll get a hot "Italian" from the local pizza shop. Recently we have taken to Jersey Mikes given the price of lunch meat and selection on such a sandwich. Can't beat the price
Will have to try that dressing. 👍

Nice monster sub right there! I cant eat as much as I used to either but zero problem wolfing down an Italian style sub...that sucker right there may be the exception!

I'm making sandwich nights more and more these days...and the belly shows it! Italian sub, beef dip and Reuben are the regular rotation but sometimes Kroger will have shaved beef on sale...then its steak sub time!

Me too . We have some great family owned Deli's in St. Louis .
Awesome sandwiches .
Will have to try that dressing.
That one , and also Zia's . Both are St. Louis based , but you might be able to find them on the shelf somewhere . They sell online also . Also great for a summertime side dish
on cucumbers and red onions .

I'm making sandwich nights more and more these days..
Same here . Large cuts on the smoker . First night , knife and fork . Second night sandwich .
Been doing a lot of grilled cheese with leftover sourdough . Stuffed with salami or pepperoni .
My Son mixes in pecorino with the butter for the outside . Gives them an awesome crust .
Hot salami is killer .

Thanks for looking .

Been awhile . @zwiller had been showing me pics of some Killer subs . Then my Son brought home some store garlic bread that cooks in the bag for pasta night . Had the thought that it would be good for a sandwich .
Breads in the bag . Oven is heating up , so prepped some of the toppings .

Cooked the bread as directed . Out of the oven and opened up .
Has garlic butter and seasonings on the top and bottom .
Started of with some salami ,

This thing is stuffed . I should have weighed it .

I had to rip mine lengthwise . I could only finish half .
Kids ate all of theirs . It was really good , but I just don't eat like I used too .

Great sandwich . have to do this again . Maybe with some smoked sirloin and onions and peppers .
That’s so true—most sauces sneak in way too much sugar. I’ve started paying more attention to what I grab on the go. The Popeyes Fish Combo Meal has been a solid pick lately—flavorful without all the extra junk.

Not the first time I've heard that !

Those sandwiches you were showing me gave me the idea . He had that bread , and I put the 2 together .

Thanks bud . Can't eat as much when I'm full of hops and barley soup .
That’s exactly how great combos start—one small idea, and boom, you’ve got something delicious.
Reminds me of the Popeyes Jumbo Fish Sandwich—crispy, buttery, and stacked just right. Simple but hits the spot every time.

Love the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich. Wife grabs them every time she does the grocery shopping. For $5, there isn't a better deal around here. I cant stray, otherwise I might try that fish sandwich. It's like going to Arby's...they have a lot of good stuff but I simply cant, not, get the half pound roast beef!

By the way, Chop, and everyone else...April is national Grilled Cheese month...get on it!
