Sams club brisket

Sams club in my area has prime brisket this week for $2.98 / lbs. or $2.88 case price.

The Sam's in my area had Prime Packers for $2.39/lb last week. Lowest price in 4 months.
I got one, but I trimmed over 6 pounds of fat from it. To me that's a lot. Still , I smoked the point and it was darn good. Hope to post it later this week. Currently dry curing the Flat for Pastrami in 2 weeks.

That looks like a sweet deal. It kills me to see the prices. I love living in the Sticks, but there is no Costco, Sam's or Restaurant Depot anywhere near me...JJ

It was a long time coming. Prices were up as high as $6.99 /lb at Sam's for Brisket. I was shocked when I saw that back in March.

I wanted to, but they only had 1 in stock. I asked when they restock, they said it was "hit and miss".
So since it's only 10 minutes drive to Sam's, I'll go back this week to see if they restocked, and I can get a "hit" not a "miss"

Nice find not that kind of price in my area. They are $4.79 lb at Sam's and $5.49 at BJ'S. Time to stock up if you can.

Sam's is a four minute drive away for me, $2.73lb for prime brisket. With just me and the wife, she doesn't eat beef cuts, all I can do is get one to grind for burgers, and I've already got a small one in the freezer for that, was $2.49lb at Kroeger. I'm going to Sam's later this morning, pick up a couple of whole chickens and a couple of butts for sausage, pass on the brisket. RAY

Very good price Jeff! We normally can get the choice ones at Kroger's for $2.99 a lb but sometimes they run the $1.99 a lb special. Would like to get my hands on a prime.
