man that rib deal sounds great! None of those stores here : ( Costco had prime briskets for $4.29 last time I bought one. all the big ones were hard as lumber with too much hard fat.

I feel you... It's like getting robbed down here man. The last time I went to Costco, prime briskets were 4.99/lb. At one point I saw it going for $5.49. But, I guess that's just the price of living in paradise :'(

Keith, I have been holding out for some .99/# pork butts, your 1.49/# is the best I've seen and the store was 20 miles away. I passed and my sausage supply is dwindling fast .Your rib deal sounds good as long as they don't want an arm and a leg for the first package ! :)

Dave, if you have a Price-chopper nearby - they often have butts on sale for .99/lb with the advantage card.

Chris

I need a butt so may have to trek up to the Winn Dixie in Clermont.
Will check the brisket.
Publix prices have really increased over the last 3 years. Even the BOGO's are usually NO GOes
Still have a 4# tri-tip in the freezer. Don't have enough room for another 4 pack from Costco.
Flavor not the same as a brisket or chuck, but the price is right.
