I love my salads but wanting to try something different for dressing. Trying to keep low carb but probably pretty easy to turn regular dressings into low carb.
Hear me out....

Put the salad on one of those low carb tortilla wraps, with a lil meat and dressing. I sometimes toast the tortilla and let it cool before using it.

I tried it this way for a Chicken Cesar Salad wrap and now I do it with most salads. Which I'm honestly supposed to be eating more of right now. 😅

I suck at eating veggies tho. One more reason that I got a smoker. 😂 I said it would make them taste better and I'd eat more of them if I got one.

I just love salads and been doing several different kinds lately. I re-visited this thread looking for a Italian Salad Dressing. There is a place in town that makes the best I ever had. Wish I could get the recipe.

Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette 1/2 cup fresh lime juice , 1 cup avocado oil (can use olive) 2T ACV, 2t lime zest, 2t Dijon mustard, 3T Splenda, 2t minced garlic , 4T fresh chopped cilantro, 1t salt and 1/2t pepper.
I forgot that one. It was so good. I will be doing again.
This is a pretty good recipe for Italian Dressing

1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil or other oil.
1/4 cup white wine vinegar OR red wine vinegar OR a combo of the two
2 tablespoons water
1 to 2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan
3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
3/4 teaspoon dried parsley
3/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
I will try this.
